Walk two block to the colonial church founded in 1812, visit the locar central plaza park, take a bus to Lago Coatepeque, take trails around the city or if you are a serious hiker, go to Amatepec or Izalco volcano, guided hikes start at 9:00 A.M. daily. Or, visit the second largest city in El Salvador, Santa Ana.
